Center on Global Anti-Semitism
Protecting the Jewish people in the U.S. and abroad
The Center on Global Anti-Semitism serves as the cornerstone of ADL’s work to fight anti-Semitism and protect the Jewish people worldwide—at the very heart of ADL’s mission since its founding. No other organization in the world shares our expertise on anti-Semitism.
Yet, 100 years later the Jewish community is once again under attack. Anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. surged 57% from 2016 to 2017. And in October 2018, a white supremacist massacred eleven innocent people in a Pittsburgh synagogue during Shabbat, the deadliest attack on Jews in American history. In the face of such horrific violence, ADL remains steadfast in its mandate to fight anti-Semitism wherever and whenever it may occur.
Your deep investment in the Center on Global Anti-Semitism will ensure that we:
-
Respond with greater efficiency to the ever-increasing volume of anti-Semitic incidents across the country
-
Conduct ongoing empirical research, disseminate reports around the world and provide much needed leadership in the Jewish community
-
Build powerful partnerships to advance approaches for tackling anti-Semitism nationally, locally and globally
I never thought I would live to see the day where I'd be protected [by security staff] in a synagogue in America. And it's gonna get worse; it's gonna get worse." — DEBORAH E. LIPSTADT, 2018
